New Hope Group Menu

New Hope is all about the journey. It is a recovery and support group ministry that helps people on their journey towards healing. Recently I re-designed their group "menu", a brochure that lists all the available groups and classes that could appeal to a large variety of people on different stages of their own journey. I created the simple brochure to have a travel journal feel to it, where the focus is on the journey together and how we can help each other get to the place we want to get to.

GHCC Easter Flyer 2013

Here is this year's Easter flyers for GHCC. I came up with the title of the theme for this year, When Empty Means Full, sometime back in November and I stored it away as an idea for a future Easter theme. It just so happened that it fit perfectly with the direction of the message for this year's Easter service. I wanted to make this year's artwork really different from the previous years I have done it for GHCC, so that meant a more illustrative style rather than a photograph. Because the look and theme are a bit different from what people are used to for Easter, I kept the focus on the empty tomb and a bright green to help make it clear what this was all about. If you're free Easter Sunday, come check it out!

7 Churches of Revelation Sermon Series

GHCC started a new series today about The Seven Churches of Revelation. One of the main analogies used to describe the churches is seven lampstands. I played around with putting the names of all seven churches into the stems of a traditional lampstand from Bible times to represent this idea.

Mad Hatter Tea Poster

This is the promo poster for a Ladies Tea & Brunch coming up at GHCC, with an Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter theme. I wanted to give the poster an Alice feel, without using copyrighted images, so after some sketching and some exploring options, this is the final result.

I had some fun putting the elements together in a way that says "Wonderland" without actually using any images from artists who have brought that world to life. Hope you like it!
