Inspiration: Truth in Branding






















Here's a poster I came across courtesy of MatchBlog (Artwork by Gavin Potenza) that I thought was really interesting, and such a great picture of the sad state of branding today. It no longer is about the brands itself catching your eye, it is about the plethora of shiny call-outs to try and get your attention — all of which are generic and none of which are truly unique.

Ultimately the brand is what will drive your decision to purchase or not — you go with the brand you trust — but unfortunately those brands have been covered up in a lot of packaging in today's market.
